Proving yet again that she’s still got star power and can earn a paycheck just like the rest of them, Lindsay’s signed on with Visa to host their second annual Swap-a. In this shop that pops up in London for only one day (July 19), customers can bring in old clothes and swap them for Visa points which are then put on your Visa card. These points then can be used to buy other second-hand items from the same store.

Last year, Mischa Barton hosted the event, and this year Lindsay will lend herself not only the day of, but also in promotional images.

I’ve been MIA for a few days, and while I was on sabbatical (as I like to call it) Lindsay was accused of drunkenly fighting and then passing out in Sam Ronson’s car. So the paps immediately jumped on it, and when she was spotted out with her assistant and sans Ronson on Wednesday, everyone was saying how good it was that she wasn’t hanging out with Sam.

Too bad for them the pair were spotted in Las Vegas just a few days later, and that Lindsay didn’t drink while there! Blows all sorts of holes in their theories that Ronson’s bad for her.

Just when you think TMZ will have everyone convinced Lindsay’s back off the wagon, drinking all night long in bars and getting into fights with Olsen twins over her supposed girlfriend Sam Ronson, she does something like this to turn the tables on us.

Friday Lindsay and Sam Ronson were in Las Vegas, the pair headed straight to the Strip House restaurant, where Lindsay immediately ordered a drink. Her drink of choice, however, was a Shirley Temple. Sounds about right for your steak and fries in my book, especially if you’re trying to stay sober and keep your life on track.

People reports that the pair later took in Kanye West’s show, but then Lindsay retreated to their two-bedroom suite (how do they know that?) at Planet Hollywood while Ronson spent a few hours deejaying at their Hawaiian Tropic Zone. This is the second time this month she’s deejayed at a party for this club. Last time it was New York, and Lindsay was drinking Grey Goose and Red Bulls all night.

I’m betting the pair won’t be in Vegas for long!

Back from New York and possible girlfriend Samantha Ronson’s gig, Lindsay took some time out with her brother. The pair were spotted at a West Hollywood 7-11 on Monday night, and it looked like Lindsay footed the bill for the snack run. I’m glad this outing didn’t involve alcohol or drama, because we’ve definitely seen enough of that from Lindsay for quite some time. Not that the rumor mill isn’t still going to run overtime on that.

Looks like whatever adorable genes both Lindsay and Ali got, their little brother got them as well. Those freckles and that red head are definitely a dominant trait in that family.

Looks like Lindsay spent quite a bit of time on the web pages of People this weekend! She went out to Times Square’s Hawaiian Tropic Zone to support friend Samantha Ronson, who was DJ’ing there from midnight until 4am. The pair showed up on time, and Lindsay enjoyed the night dancing and drinking Grey Goose and Red Bull cocktails. Should she be doing that if she’s in recovery?! When Samantha was done with her set at 4am, the pair snuck out in a Black Escalade.

All the news from the weekend wasn’t good, however. Lindsay also finally spoke out publicly against her father, who’s been spending a lot of time talking to the media about her.

“I just wish that he wouldn’t go and talk to the media,” she said Friday on radio’s The Billy Bush Show. “It’s not attractive to me, it really upsets me and I wish he would stop. … I love my father. I just don’t know why he’s doing what he’s doing. It’s a weird situation, very odd.”

Here’s hoping her father gets that message!

In an interview with Spin Magazine promoting her new album of Tom Waits covers, Scarlett started talking about Lindsay and Paris and their music. She had this to say:

“I have no relationship with either Lindsay Lohan or Paris Hilton, even as far as my lifestyle or the music I listen to. They probably made music that fits with their lifestyle – ‘Wouldn’t it be great if I were dancing to my own song in the club?’ My album is more suited to my lifestyle. I live a very low-key life.”

People all over the internet are freaking out about this, saying she’s blasting them, talking trash, being mean. Personally, while I think she’s making a lot of judgments in a short amount of time, it’s not mean. Lindsay spends a good amount of time at clubs, especially when friend Sam Ronson is dj-ing, so it’s not a far leap to say she might like hearing her music played at a club. And if Scarlett doesn’t know Lindsay (which she says is true), then she just doesn’t know.

Plus, she said “probably”. Total mea culpa there. Whatever. Mostly I think it was her way of separating herself from all the other blonde starlets out there, give the “alterna-boys” over at Spin one more thing to drool over … her alterna-status.

PopSugar is reporting that Lindsay seems to have traded in one addiction for another. While we may not see her out boozing or drugging anymore, we still get plenty of photo ops of the starlet. Now she’s leaving the salon three times a week.

I say good for her. Everyone knows how nice it is to visit the salon, get your hair done professionally. Even if she’s just getting a blow-out and some curls added to her long (and probably fake) locks, or just getting her tracks sewn down tighter, the salon is always a treat. I bet she’s throwing in a few mani-pedis while she’s there as well. And even if the salon is an expensive habit, it’s at least healthier than all the drugs and alcohol she was so addicted to before. Plus, much like celebs get free purses and cell phones and clothes (because by showcasing them, they’re giving the company advertising time), I’m betting she’s getting a sweet deal for all the press the salons she frequents seem to be getting.

Remember back when Lindsay was a young starlet, still devouring Disney scripts instead of drugs for breakfast, and feuding with other young stars because they didn’t know about sex yet? Yeah, me neither. But Hilary Duff still remembers all the negative press she got from the feud the pair shared over Aaron Carter. Which I still don’t get. He’s not cute, he’s a total douche (like his brother Nick), and yet all these young girls were fighting over him like he was Brad Pitt.

I digress. Hilary is finally coming clean on all the feuds she’s been involved in, and Lindsay’s name came up. This is what she had to say about it:

On Lindsay Lohan: “Supposedly, I stole Lindsay Lohan’s boyfriend [Aaron Carter]. We were, like, 13! And I’ve never stolen anyone’s boyfriend! I don’t know how you do that! . . . She was talking about it and I wasn’t. It made us both look bad and put up a big weirdness. Really she was just a girl my age. We are fine now, by the way.”

It’s been a busy few days for Lindsay. She and a friend were eating at a bakery in LA, and the sight of her caused such a ruckus that one waiter dropped an entire tray of pastries as she was leaving! Could it be just excitement at the sight of her, or was it her see through pants?

Too bad she didn’t wear a longer shirt with those leggings. One of these days she’ll learn that she’s got to ditch those things … they’re so out of fashion even Walmart has stopped selling them!

In rumor news, Lindsay’s dad seems to be trying to dissuade the negative press that’s been surrounding him (again) lately, what with reopening his divorce case and all that. He’s been telling people that Lindsay will be joining him on a missions trip to India in the near future. Michael’s joined up with a group called Times Square Church Missions.

“Our trip next February encompasses the issue of child sexual slavery in India. We also deal with helping AIDS victims,” he tells In Touch. “She has made it clear she definitely wants to come along.”

Too bad for Michael this latest bout of bullshit is simply that. Bullshit. Lindsay’s reps have vehemently denied her involvement in this mission work, and I’m really not surprised. She’s too busy with a variety of music and movie projects to head off with her father. Too bad for Michael all this has done is tarnish his image even further.

Lindsay’s dad wavers back and forth between “good, loving Christian man and father” to typical wannabe-famous dad more than any other I can think of in Hollywood. He’s been around town spouting off about his new Christian television show/station (I can’t keep straight anymore which it really is), but now he’s back to being the vindictive man we all know him to be.

He’s suing Dina Lohan, reopening their divorce papers. He’s claiming she still owes him money, and that this isn’t something new when it comes to her.

“The facts are Dina defrauded me and breached her divorce contract with me, just like she does to so many others,” he continues. “Take a look at her music deals and the money she owes her contractors at her house. Dina uses people, gets what she wants and then turns her back on them or claims the ideas were hers all along. She thinks the law doesn’t apply to her or her family since they always get away with things and use Lindsay’s name to do it.”

He’s also clamoring against the reality show Dina’s got their daughter Ali in, but not because he doesn’t want her in it. He’s pissed that she supposedly stole his idea!

“It’s the exact same show I pitched. She even used my title.”

But he’s not stopping with just his ex-wife this time. He’s also attacking his children for not visiting his ailing mother while she’s in the hospital.

“That is the bottom line. My mother, Marilyn Lohan, was medevacked by helicopter to the hospital on Easter Sunday after hitting a telephone poll and tree. Thank God, she’s okay, but the car was totalled. Every window blew out. My father went into heart failure again yesterday — and yet not one of the kids has seen him.”

This guy is priceless. I’m wondering if he even asked his kids to visit his mother, or asked them why they hadn’t yet, before going to the press. As for the reality show, the fact that these parents will now be fighting over who has the rights to it, rather than protecting their young daughter from the same traps Lindsay fell into is just ridiculous.

After being spotted sneaking out the back door of the Neil George Salon the other day (which makes it at least three trips in two weeks), reports have been surfacing that Lindsay and friend Samantha Ronson are all but living together.

“Sam still has her own place,” a source told the New York Post, “but she spends every night at Lindsay’s”.

The reason behind these sleepovers might not be as hot and heavy as people like to assume. Turns out Samantha’s a big factor in helping Lindsay stay away from drugs and alcohol, and has gone to the extreme of staying over to ensure her friend doesn’t make late night drug-calls or alcohol runs.

Whether the pair are dating or not will be a source of endless speculation, but regardless of what they do between the sheets, it seems Samantha is a much better influence on Lindsay than others have said she is. And with her now heading on trips with Lindsay, there’s even more chances for photo ops and sober days (and nights) in the future!

Not as much to report about Lindsay this morning as I’d hoped. She spent some time out eating at Foxtail Restaurant with Sam Ronson and a few other friends, and also shopped at DCMA, the Madden Brothers’ new clothing shop, over the weekend, but it seems like other than that she laid pretty low. Which is a good thing considering the rumor mill has been working overtime on her lately.

The latest rumor to be debunked is the one about her taking it all off for a mere $75k. Her mother Dina has denied such a deal has been made, much to the dismay of creepy fan boys everywhere, who were hoping to get a better glimpse of Lindsay’s girlie bits. They’ll have to wait a little longer for that! No word yet if she’s actually even attached to Florence, the film in question, but even if she is, her clothes will most definitely stay on.

Looks like lawsuits are Lindsay’s new drug of choice, as one former bodyguard has joined the party, claiming Linday owes him around $50k for six months of services that went unpaid.

Among his grievances? He never got paid for the car one of Lindsay’s drivers wrecked while attempting to outrun the paparazzi. The problem with this? David Kim (the bodyguard in question) was the one responsible for hiring drivers for Lindsay. She had nothing to do with hiring a driver that subsequently wrecked his car. Not that Lindsay shouldn’t have paid him for his services, though. He claims those services included protecting her at clubs and fetching drugs for her when she didn’t want to go out for them herself.

The greatest part of the whole law suit, however, is what he officially filed at the Los Angeles county courthouses. ” … charges of fraud, emotional distress and breach of oral contract.” Oral contract. I’m pretty sure that will get thrown out pretty fast, if all he had with her was an oral contract.
