Lindsay Lohan

Lindsay was seen out and about yesterday and today, smiling and happily going on munchie runs - the first we’ve seen her really happy since the Superbowl Weekend, where apparently there was a bit of a squabble with Samantha. Nothing so major as the weeks before, but it culminated with a distraught Lindsay worried about dying because she almost had to fly coach. Awww.

There is one major reason for the smiles - Lindsay is back behind the wheel! After being chauffered around by friends and Samantha for the past few months, Lindsay’s finally gotten her license back and with it the freedom to come and go as she pleases.

Another possibility? Papa Lohan decided to shut down his blog after a whole 5 posts. He couldn’t do it quietly, of course, making sure to get a copy to X-17 so they knew of his decision, and making sure to get in some last minute zingers toward Samantha and her ‘control’ over Lindsay.

Michael said that he closed the blog out of respect for his “innocent childrens” wishes, yet made sure to quote a text that he’d supposedly received from a “close friend” of Lindsay’s that ‘proved’ she is “worse of than ever since she has been with Sam” and how Lindsay needs Michael back in her life to give her stability.

Yeah. That’s it. I wonder if it was a text from Joe Francis again? He also tried to prove that he was not a homophobic bore by claiming he isn’t biased by gender, but by personality, and of course by going back to using Samantha’s name instead of Perez Hilton’s saMANtha. He said he learned a lot - let’s just hope it’s the right things.

In the meantime - Lindsay and Samantha have recently celebrated their one year anniversary and it looks like they’ll be in Miami for Valentine’s day, where Lindsay will host the party as Samantha takes her turn at the tables at Passions Night Club!

If it’s not one thing, it’s another, right? Right! While Lindsay jetted to San Francisco to support Samantha at a gig, they parted ways soon after -Sam to another gig in Canada, and Lindsay to chow down at Mr. Chow’s. She had a smile and a few poses while she walked to her car, and seemed her usual (Now!) content and happy self as she did so.

Not so much for Ali, though. Recently Dina claimed that Johnny Wright, a top music producer, was dying to work with Ali, and Wright took serious offense to the matter. He made a statement to the NYP, via his rep, stating that he had to set the record straight. Not only had he never met Ali Lohan, or mama manager Dina, he has absolutely no intention of speaking with her about her career at all. “Any story that has surfaces about such a meeting holds no merit and is completely false.” This statement can’t come as a surprise, considering Ali’s single was a total flop, and Living Lohan hasn’t been picked up for a second season, hm? It’s just poor Dina, getting caught spouting off again! It’s amazing how that keeps happening!

And she’s not the only Lohan who can’t keep her trap shut. Michael’s still looking for someone to beat him up. They’re taking bids for a charity boxing match, with the price starting at $5000, for a fight on November 24th. Who do you think should take him up on it? Perez and KFed have already turned him down.

You know, I bet Samantha wouldn’t mind taking a couple shots at him! That’d be a fight I’d pay to see! Assuming she has any cash left after paying up in the suit against Perez.

Lindsay and Samantha decided they’d had enough sun in Cabo, and landed back at LAX last night. The world is still stunned that not only does Samantha wear a bikini, she has more then one, and all are bright, girly colors. Ok, so maybe I’m the one still shocked, but at least I admit it! (grin) They looked like they were having a lovely, relaxing time on the beach, playing in the surf and playing to the paparazzi on occasion, just because they were there.

After three days of sunning, splashing, and lounging, it’s back to LA and munchie runs to the local one stop. (Is that what ya’ll call them out there? Anyone?)

While they were gone, the rumor mill never stopped. Insiders that claim to be friends of Lindsay and Sam are still declaring that Lindsay is the happiest she’s ever been, and hinting at wedding bells in the future between the two. Their relationship is based on respect and love, and it’s better then all the ones before - no fighting, immaturity… it’s the real thing.

And Papa Lohan is still spitting fire over the topic. The man just cannot keep his mouth shut as he actively went out of his way to call in to a radio show and deny the ‘rumors’ that Lindsay, Ali and Dina all have or are getting restraining orders against him. Michael insists that he’s just being a parent, he’s not there to be Lindsay’s friend, and he wants Samantha - the bad influence - out of her life. He claims that he’s seen “marks on her body” in recent tabloid photos, and because of that believes that Samantha is controlling Lindsay.

I don’t know about you - but both girls, aside from the smokes, look pretty damn healthy to me. What do you think?

When Lindsay semi-confirmed her relationship with Samantha Ronson on LoveLine recently, we knew it wouldn’t be long until Papa Lohan had to open his big mouth and spout some hatred. He came through, in true lack of style, via email to Fox News Pop Tarts. I know. That’s Klass with a capitol K, right there.

First, he had to complain a bit that the blogs written a while ago condemning him on Lindsay’s blog, were written by Sam, not Lindsay, and last time he was in a deep conversation with Lindsay on the phone, Sam was in the background telling her to hang up. Aww, sounds like Daddy Lohan’s widdle feewings was hurted! Or he’s just insane, because he then declared Joe Frances to be a good person who cares deeply about Lindsay. “He wasn’t a bad guy when he flew Lindsay around on his jet, opened the doors to his home or tried to help, was he? Of course not, because SaMANtha wasn’t around!” (He used Perez’s nickname saMANtha throughout the whole email, apparently. Get your own schtick, Papa L!)

This is, of course, the recently jailed Joe Francis of Girls Gone Wild fame. Yeah. That’s who’d _I_ want to be an example for my daughter… just sayin’.

He then went on to slam Samantha for oh.. everything.

“There is a lot more to Samantha then meets the eyes, not that what we see is too pleasing anyway! I mean, what’s with this … ‘person’??? Look at the way she ‘dresses’? Once more, she uses her middle finger more than she uses words! Personally, I think she is dark, hideous and a disgusting representation of humanity,” Lohan wrote.

“God will weed her out of Lindsay’s life and at that time, you will finally see Lindsay back in the place where she belongs,” he continued. “Not doing independent films, guest starring on [a] TV show, being a guest judge on a reality TV show or making appearances at Samantha’s DJ gigs. Is this the Lindsay we all knew and loved before Samantha came into her life? No!!! When she got out of Cirque Lodge everything looked good until Samantha came on the ’scene.’”

He finished his ’statement’ by insisting that though Dina has praised Samantha publicly, that privately is a different story, and she’ upset that Samantha is supposedly going to write a tell all book. Mama Lohan couldn’t be reached for a comment, and Michael just kept saying that Lindsay is his daughter, and not a friend or enabler, so he is compelled to speak out.

“After the death of my dad, [her grandfather] and all the things I continue to hear and see, I am compelled to speak out. The Lindsay I knew never would have missed his wake or funeral. But since being around Samantha, she has become a different person.

“If Samantha or ‘anyone’ wants to blog me or has anything to say, let them, to my face. Otherwise, if they want to be the sneaky, lying, parasites they are, I am ready to really spill the beans, and I won’t stop until this dark, evil nemesis is out of Lindsay’s life.”

Yeah. Classy. Not. And Michael does so well telling people to their face what he thinks right? As long as that face has ‘reporter’ on it and cameras in tow…

In fact, class comes from his daughter, Lindsay, who stands by Samantha, and emailed this statement earlier via her rep:

“My father obviously needs to be on medication to control his moods. He is out of line and his words show how much anger he has, and it’s dangerous and scary as it reminds me of how he treated my mother and I my whole childhood. He needs to be stopped. This is yet another reason why we aren’t speaking.

“I am in a great place in life,” Lindsay continued. “I have overcome a lot and have been able to learn how to enjoy and appreciate my life in every way possible. I’m proud of myself for being able to make a change in the past year and a half.

“My past is behind me, and that’s final. There’s nothing more to be said. All the false accusations that people try to make are simply because there’s no story when things are calm and good.

“But they might as well let it go because their lies don’t affect me anymore. Samantha is not evil, I care for her very much and she’s a wonderful girl.

“She loves me, as I do her.”

Well said, Lindsay. Well said!

…and I can’t say as I blame her, exactly. Lindsay was spotted out shopping with Samantha Ronson in New York, the same day her father was attending the wake of her grandfather. Richard Lohan died at the age of 73 after a long battle with colon cancer. Last week, in the middle of yet another public statement from Michael Lohan, he mentioned that his father had passed away, and he had notified Dina’s lawyers and his children in hopes they would ‘do the right thing’ and attend the wake. He added that it would show Dina’s true colors, if she didn’t make the effort to take the kids to the funeral.

It’s highly likely that Michael had the paparazzi on tap at the event or nearby, in order to see if Lindsay or any of his estranged family would show up. Those suspicions seem confirmed by the fact that he chose to confirm her absence to the x-17 crew.

There’s no doubt in my mind that he’ll blast out at Lindsay once more in the near future, and blame everything on her relationship with Samantha Ronson.

In the meantime, Lindsay posted once more on her myspace blog, though it had nothing at all to do with her father. In fact, she’s trying to find a childhood favorite ice cream to share with Sam when she gets home. She wanted to find Dixie Cups - the half chocolate/half vanilla ice cream cups that you would get at school for disert. I’m sure she found them in the 219 comments she received, but the part that made me smile was the last bit…

While Lindsay is hard at work on the Ugly Betty set, the drama that always swirls around her family keeps getting wilder and wilder. In fact, it didn’t take long at all for Papa Lohan to go to the press again, instead of talking to his daughter directly. He hit up abc news first off, and lashed out against Samantha and Lindsay:

“Who’s out of control? Whose life is out of control? Give me a break,” he told ABCNews.com. “Going from place to place, being dragged around by Samantha so she can make more money off of Lindsay being there when she spins … She’s gone from making $7 million to less than a million a movie. Who’s out of control?

“I go to church,” he continued. “I go and help people in rehab. That’s control. How can she say I’m out of control?”

“I want Lindsay to be in a good place. When I started looking at what Samantha was doing, dragging Lindsay to clubs, drinking around Lindsay … Samantha is one of the biggest problems in her life,” Michael said. “That’s what Dina told me. I’m reacting on what Dina said, but then Dina steps out of the picture because she wants to look like the good guy.”

“Dina’s a two-face,” he continued. “She wants to try to look good and stay on Lindsay’s good side instead of being a good parent. I don’t give two hoots about my relationship with Lindsay as a friend. One day she’s going to turn around to me and tell me, ‘Daddy, you were right.’”

That, of course, wasn’t enough. He had more to say, so went straight to his staple ragmag, OK magazine, to let it all hang out again. And this one was a doosy, calling the myspace entries “absolutely ridiculous!”

It’s been all over the net today (I got here as soon as I could, I swear!) - Someone, an insider who knows Samantha Ronson has decided to tell everyone she’s going to write a book, a tell all tome. The source said that Samantha is telling friends that She’s planning on writing a book, and it’s supposed to be about her and her life. “but come on!” said friend continued “you know Lindsay will be all over that book. She’s the only one people want to read about.”

Some friend, huh? Just sayin’.

Well, it took approximately 2.4 seconds before Papa Lohan contacted the media himself. After admitting that he hadn’t bothered to talk to Lindsay or Samantha directly, Michael said he’s furious about it. “I’ve shut up about it long enough. She’s using my daughter!” Reaaaaaaaaally. He continued to say no one knew Samantha Ronson until she met lindsay, and he’s at his wits end. It’s not in Lindsay’s best interest. And apparently, talking to the press before talking to your daughter, IS. Nice.

Neither Samatha or Dina Lohan returned calls to E!, but Micheal left one parting shot “I hope Lindsay starts opening her eyes and realizes who the people using her are.”

I think, by Lindsay’s just posted blog, she has a pretty good idea, Papa Lohan!

Just a few minutes ago, Lindsay posted that she was DRUG FREE and her mood “betrayed”. She raises some valid points, and you can’t help feeling for the girl.

Here’s what she had to say:

If you have something to say to me, say it to my face- that’s what i have believed my whole life- don’t be a coward and say it to others first, let alone all the media in the world- i think we know where the rest of this blog is going…

If you guessed it had to do with my father- then you guessed right! It really hurts, because i have tried- after all that my mother and siblings have gone through, i really tried to make things work- For the hope of having a father again-wanting things to change- even though people have said, some people will forever remain the same.

Having said that- the people were right, and he is yet to change- but this time, without his daughter by his side- He has become a public embaressment and a bully- To my family, my co-workers, my friends, and a girl that means the world to me (its obvious who that is).

He has no idea what is going on in my life because i have chosen not to involve him in it- His recent attack on my life and my loved ones is simply for an ADDICTION THAT HE HAS- FAME. Why he feels the need to comment on anything in my life that i may want to keep private, is beyond comprehension- If he really cared about me and my life, then he would learn to respect my wishes by staying out of it.

Samantha has not and would never sell me out. Nor has my mother, who is wonderful.

This further proves that any information that my father has about me or the people in my life is internet based- and about as accurate as a page six item.

I’m not going to engage any further, though i probably could go on…

I have said enough, i have a therapist, and it is not the the camera man at x17.

Ya know, ya gotta kinda feel for the girl. Someone shut Papa up, will ya?

Lindsay took to her blog again yesterday to slam the reports (and reporters!) that gave the paparazzi to ask her a question about her 14 year old sister, Ali. As she was entering a store with a friend, Patrick, two paparazzi approached (as they always do) and threw questions her way. The kicker was “Hey Lindsay, what do you have to say about people commenting on your sister’s implants?”

Apparently a rag mag is reporting that Ali Lohan had implants, due to a recently taken picture. (I saw the picture - and really? I think the difference is in posture, not in breast size. Just saying.) Lindsay is not happy at all about the allegation. She continued on her blog, copping to a response that wasn’t exactly PC or proper when she called the paparazzi a pedophile for asking the question. She was caught off guard, and couldn’t think of a proper response, though there were a whole lot of other things she wanted to add, but refused to give the guy a money shot.

Lindsay further writes that she was raised with a wonderful family surrounding her even through the ups and downs, and that Dina taught them to appreciate what they’ve been given. Mom would “never encourage, nor allow a 14 year old child to alter her body.” Lindsay doesn’t judge those that do - but her family finds it unnecessary, especially at an age when your not fully developed. She reminds us that teenage years are hard enough with all the inherent insecurities, then add being in the public eye on top of it? Harsh.

She ends it, though, with missing Samantha because she’s out of town. Awwwww!

Back from New York and possible girlfriend Samantha Ronson’s gig, Lindsay took some time out with her brother. The pair were spotted at a West Hollywood 7-11 on Monday night, and it looked like Lindsay footed the bill for the snack run. I’m glad this outing didn’t involve alcohol or drama, because we’ve definitely seen enough of that from Lindsay for quite some time. Not that the rumor mill isn’t still going to run overtime on that.

Looks like whatever adorable genes both Lindsay and Ali got, their little brother got them as well. Those freckles and that red head are definitely a dominant trait in that family.

Looks like Lindsay spent quite a bit of time on the web pages of People this weekend! She went out to Times Square’s Hawaiian Tropic Zone to support friend Samantha Ronson, who was DJ’ing there from midnight until 4am. The pair showed up on time, and Lindsay enjoyed the night dancing and drinking Grey Goose and Red Bull cocktails. Should she be doing that if she’s in recovery?! When Samantha was done with her set at 4am, the pair snuck out in a Black Escalade.

All the news from the weekend wasn’t good, however. Lindsay also finally spoke out publicly against her father, who’s been spending a lot of time talking to the media about her.

“I just wish that he wouldn’t go and talk to the media,” she said Friday on radio’s The Billy Bush Show. “It’s not attractive to me, it really upsets me and I wish he would stop. … I love my father. I just don’t know why he’s doing what he’s doing. It’s a weird situation, very odd.”

Here’s hoping her father gets that message!

Lindsay’s dad wavers back and forth between “good, loving Christian man and father�? to typical wannabe-famous dad more than any other I can think of in Hollywood. He’s been around town spouting off about his new Christian television show/station (I can’t keep straight anymore which it really is), but now he’s back to being the vindictive man we all know him to be.

He’s suing Dina Lohan, reopening their divorce papers. He’s claiming she still owes him money, and that this isn’t something new when it comes to her.

“The facts are Dina defrauded me and breached her divorce contract with me, just like she does to so many others,�? he continues. “Take a look at her music deals and the money she owes her contractors at her house. Dina uses people, gets what she wants and then turns her back on them or claims the ideas were hers all along. She thinks the law doesn’t apply to her or her family since they always get away with things and use Lindsay’s name to do it.�?

He’s also clamoring against the reality show Dina’s got their daughter Ali in, but not because he doesn’t want her in it. He’s pissed that she supposedly stole his idea!

“It’s the exact same show I pitched. She even used my title.”

But he’s not stopping with just his ex-wife this time. He’s also attacking his children for not visiting his ailing mother while she’s in the hospital.

“That is the bottom line. My mother, Marilyn Lohan, was medevacked by helicopter to the hospital on Easter Sunday after hitting a telephone poll and tree. Thank God, she’s okay, but the car was totalled. Every window blew out. My father went into heart failure again yesterday — and yet not one of the kids has seen him.”

This guy is priceless. I’m wondering if he even asked his kids to visit his mother, or asked them why they hadn’t yet, before going to the press. As for the reality show, the fact that these parents will now be fighting over who has the rights to it, rather than protecting their young daughter from the same traps Lindsay fell into is just ridiculous.
