Looks like there’s trouble for both Lohan daughters this week!

First, Ali Lohan is running into the modern-day equivalent of bullies at her school, and it looks like they’re being dealt with just as modern. Turns out a few of the girls she goes to school with put a video up on You Tube that had some harsh things to say about the Lohan family. The girls in question? They were expelled.

That’s right, expelled.

Ali had this to say: “A few girls got suspended in school because they did a video about me on YouTube or something and said stuff (that was) inappropriate. Bad stuff that if I ever said, my mother would kill me. “I was, like, really shocked because those girls, I thought they were my friends, but obviously you can’t trust anybody except your family.”

Life’s apparently really hard for you in school when you’re trying to be a pop star and your sister is super famous.

On Lindsay’s end, things aren’t looking any easier. She was in New York on the set of the new NERD video, where she’s apparently making a cameo, when all hell broke loose. Reports are coming back that a huge fight broke out on set, and police had to be called. Apparently people weren’t happy with the amount of camera-time they were getting. The good news for Lindsay? She had been off-set for three hours by the time this happened.

Further proof Lindsay and Riley are still together? After attending her brother’s basketball game, she and Riley went to dinner with her dad and dad’s new girlfriend!

Looks like she’s really got this whole “divorced family” thing down pat. Spend some time with mom at her brother’s game, eat dinner with dad, and keep your boyfriend handy in case things get all crazy. Good for her!

Not ones to miss out on a shopping experience, Lindsay and Ali Lohan hit the day after Thanksgiving sales in New York. The pair spent the day hitting Armani Exchange, as well as Intermix Boutique. No word on how much they bought but they have some bags with them so we know they got something.

And I forget how young Ali is until I see the pair together. And then the only reason I notice is because she’s so much shorter than Lindsay. Even if they do look the same age!

Aw! Everyone looks so happy to be together for the holidays! Lindsay, Riley and Dina all went out for lunch on Wednesday, hopefully to discuss plans for Turkey Day as well as for Riley to make ammends for those nasty things he said about Dina’s reality show! Now that all three are together, I wonder how much of the show Lindsay and Riley will actually be in? Filming has started, so maybe they’ll have an extra-special Thanksgiving episode, show how the whole family (Papa Lohan included if he shows up!) can get along when they really want to. AW!

Now that she’s in NYC, Lindsay is taking some time to reunite with her family … well, minus Papa Lohan. Here she is out and about with brother Dakota.

Why she thinks family bonding is best done on the streets of New York with the paparazzi in tow I’ll never figure out, but it’s super cute how much alike these two look. And Dakota actually looks his age, unlike Ali (who looks closer to 30 than Lindsay does).

Here’s hoping they stay inside and bond at least a little bit while she’s out there!

Scoring one for mom’s everywhere, Dina Lohan’s been telling people she doesn’t understand why her daughter had to go to rehab. Apparently her daughter’s DUI seems the same to her as a college kid getting a DUI, and in her words, “Like, if you’re in college and you get a D.U.I., you don’t go to rehab. It’s just ridiculous!”

Yeah, Dina, if you’re in college and you get a DUI you don’t go to rehab. Sure. But if you hijack someone’s car with them and two of their friends in it, and then try to sneak coke into jail with you? Then you need to go to rehab. And when you aren’t even 21 and admitting you’ve been partying for years and telling people OF YOUR OWN ACCORD that you’ve got a problem, and when your every move is splashed all over the television and magazines? Then you go to rehab. Even if just to save your career.

There are plenty of stars who quietly party much harder than Lindsay ever did, I’m sure. She just chose to do it so that everyone was watching and critiquing her. And that’s the fastest way to end your Hollywood career. Just look at Britney Spears! Or Mel Gibson. Or Dog the Bounty Hunter (Hah!) … they all aired their dirty laundry willingly and have crushed their careers. Take note, Dina, take note.

Now that Lindsay’s clean and sober (for the third time), it’s time for another one of her family members to get crazy. This time it’s not mommy or daddy, it’s her uncle.

[Lohan’s] uncle, Matthew Sullivan, was allegedly caught drunk and in pos session of marijuana by Long Island cops. Sullivan, 46, of Merrick, was stopped by state troop ers on Meadowbrook Parkway on Oct. 3 just before 11 p.m. Eric Phillips, a spokesman for Nassau DA Kathleen Rice, told The Post’s Kieran Crowley that Sullivan blew a .13 on the Breathalizer. The legal limit is .08.

Man oh man. Maybe Lindsay should go back to Utah and work on another album and not tour to support it. And shop online only. That way she could stay out of the gossip spotlight for a week or two!

Now that she’s out of rehab and “cleaning house” (including friends like Brit Brit and rumored girlfriend Samantha Ronson) there’s one more name to potentially add to that list … Dina Lohan.

Despite Lindsay’s camp saying there’s no truth to the rumors she’s fired her mommy manager, sources close to Dina are saying otherwise.

“Lindsay fired Dina as her manager. She is livid about all this press her mom is doing on this NYC apartment that she’ll never even live in; Dina even gave Access Hollywood a tour of the apartment two nights ago.”

“The apartment” is the rumored new digs of LiLo once she’s done filming her newest movie. It looks like Linds won’t be living there after all, as she’s made it very clear she plans to stay in Utah and continue her recovery.

It gets better. Apparently the only way Dina got her E! television show was by saying Lindsay would be on it with her, and now that it’s clear she wants nothing to do with her mother, Dina might lose the show.

“They tolerate her simply to get to Lindsay – the REAL star in the family. When Lindsay found out about the show, she went mad at her mother. She is upset her mom would use her name and sign off on paperwork involving her career without even consulting her. The two haven’t even spoken in weeks except to fight.”

Looks like there’s about to be a serious media-fueled catfight! Too bad Dina can’t learn to put on a concerned face like Brit’s mom. She’s got that thing HANDLED!

Lindsay Lohan has told Allure magazine that she feels like she’s a protector to her family and friends. “When my friends and family are around me I feel like they’re safe. When my friends have left me – I’ve just seen everything collapse. They’re not safe without me,” she says. So, picture this: while the city sleeps, La Lohan aka: The Protector watches over her friends and makes sure that they’re okay. Err, is it just me or does Lindsay sound like she wants to be a superhero? Instead of stressing so much that her loved ones can’t survive without her, Lindsay should be worrying about herself. She claims to have been disappointed with herself when she realized that she had to be treated for her alcohol addiction. “It’s so weird that I went to rehab. I always said I would die before I went to rehab,” she said. But despite having gone, Lindsay now insists that she is not going to slow down on her partying ways. “It’s my life!” she says. Ever Miss. Contradictory, Lindsay admits that she knows her fans are getting tired of her wild behaviour. “Everybody’s tired of hearing things about me. I think it’s just better for me to lie low and get better,” she says.

Once again, Lindsay Lohan has managed to get people talking with her questionable antics. Last week she shocked everyone when she failed to attend the memorial of director Robert Altman, the seven time Academy Award nominee and winner of the Lifetime Achievement Oscar Award last year. Lindsay has previously said that Robert was like a father figure to her so it was surprising that she didn’t make an appearance. What makes her no-show worse is that a report by Starpulse confirms that the actress chose to go partying in Los Angeles with Steve-O, the star of Jackass, instead of paying her respects to the man who she was extremely close to.

Robert directed Lindsay in the movie, A Prairie Home Companion. After the news of his death (he died from complications relating to cancer and had been battling with the disease for a year and a half), Lindsay was devastated and shocked. According to a report by E! Online, at the time she expressed her emotions by saying, “I feel as if I’ve just had the wind knocked out of me and my heart aches. I learned so much from Altman and he was the closest thing to my father and grandfather that I really do believe I’ve had in several years.”

Now that she’s out of rehab, Lindsay Lohan is expressing concern for her younger sister, Aliana, who once said it’s her wish to follow in her big sister’s footsteps. Maybe she should rethink the strategy or change the course a tad? Lindsay wouldn’t argue with us – she has been worrying about her sister’s future because she fears that Aliana might wind up being a heavier partier than she is! Is that even possible? Anyway, according to the site, Celebrity-Gossip.net, Lindsay says, “My little sister Aliana’s opinions are the most important to me. She says, ‘I want to look like you, you’re so pretty!’ But she is very beautiful and so she is trouble in the making! She wants to do what I do. I’m like her second mother and I am very protective of her.” Lindsay also has a brother, Cody, who is nineteen years old, but he wants to become a lawyer instead of hitting the red carpet like his sisters. Still, he could very well be a good asset to the Lohans. Lindsay says she hopes that he’ll be able to help her should she ever need legal assistance. “I want him to be an entertainment lawyer, so he can help me out!” the star said.

In an interview with Vanity Fair, Lindsay came clean about her weight issues and drug experimentation. She said that the reasons behind her problems were the difficult relationship she has with her father, Michael Lohan; the stress of being in the spotlight; and the nasty breakup she went through with Wilmer Valderrama (who she was seen chatting to in Miami on New Year’s Eve).
“I was making myself sick. I was sick,” she bluntly told the magazine. “I had people sit me down and say, ‘You’re going to die if you don’t take care of yourself.’” Lindsay’s light-bulb moment came when her mom showed her a picture of herself looking super-skinny. “I looked at it and was like, ‘Jesus Christ’,” Lindsay recalls. “My sister, she was scared. My brother called me, crying.”
Apart for her recent weight worries, Lindsay has said that she is no longer using drugs by firmly saying, “I’ve gotten that out of my system.”
Hopefully Lindsay is talking about her food and drug issues so that she can start over on a clean slate – and stay out of the tabloids for being a bad role model.

A person Lindsay could learn from is Drew Barrymore. This former Hollywood wild child who got her own life back on track has this advice for Lindsay (and Britney): “You just have to try to be as graceful as you can,” she said, according to the New York Daily News. “You flub, you flub. And that’s life. I think: Do what you want, but just be professional.”
Perhaps this Angel could be a good mentor for Lindsay.

Aliana Lohan, Lindsay’s younger sister, recently chatted about Lindsay in an interview with MTV. Her nice words provided a cool contrast to the nasty things people have recently been saying about Lindsay. Hmm, maybe Lindsay should hire Ali as her new publicist!
Ali reported that Lindsay not only gives her makeup tips but also helps to keep her motivated about life. “She tells me never to give up and to stay strong,” Ali said. “I basically want to follow in her footsteps.”
Ali’s first shot at the big time is her Christmas album called Lohan Holiday. “It was a really cool experience,” Ali said. “I always watched my sister in the recording studio and on movie sets, and it’s really cool now that I have my face on something.”
When commenting about boys who are smitten with Lindsay, Ali is just as honest about her feelings. “Sometimes kids will come up to me and say, ‘Oh, your sister is Lindsay Lohan. Tell her she’s hot. And I’ll just run away,” she said.

Lindsay Lohan is a recovering alcoholic and Nicole Richie recently confessed to using drugs…So it’s no surprise, then, that someone has got something to say (not always nice things) about all of these reports. This time, the insults come courtesy of former Partridge Family star, Danny Bonaduce. He not only insulted the girls for their out-of-control, wild ways, but claimed he is frankly fed up with all of their substance abuse stories. Bonaduce, who has previously struggled with a cocaine addiction, reckons the young stars are promoting the disease more than anything else. “I don’t think Nicole Richie and Lindsay Lohan have a disease; I think they have a goal to have a disease,” he blatantly said, according to Contactmusic.com.
