It’s been a busy few days for Lindsay. She and a friend were eating at a bakery in LA, and the sight of her caused such a ruckus that one waiter dropped an entire tray of pastries as she was leaving! Could it be just excitement at the sight of her, or was it her see through pants?

Too bad she didn’t wear a longer shirt with those leggings. One of these days she’ll learn that she’s got to ditch those things … they’re so out of fashion even Walmart has stopped selling them!

In rumor news, Lindsay’s dad seems to be trying to dissuade the negative press that’s been surrounding him (again) lately, what with reopening his divorce case and all that. He’s been telling people that Lindsay will be joining him on a missions trip to India in the near future. Michael’s joined up with a group called Times Square Church Missions.

“Our trip next February encompasses the issue of child sexual slavery in India. We also deal with helping AIDS victims,” he tells In Touch. “She has made it clear she definitely wants to come along.”

Too bad for Michael this latest bout of bullshit is simply that. Bullshit. Lindsay’s reps have vehemently denied her involvement in this mission work, and I’m really not surprised. She’s too busy with a variety of music and movie projects to head off with her father. Too bad for Michael all this has done is tarnish his image even further.

Looks like even though I’ve been away, Lindsay continues to do the same stuff she’s always done. She was spotted out shopping, wearing almost head to toe black. It’s good to know that some things never change. So many things I could say about this photo: why the leggings still Lindsay. We’ve talked about this. Also, those purple boots are hideous.

It’s starting to look on the gossip front like so many of the people who were rooting for her comeback have given up. Since being out of rehab, she’s done nothing but cause scandal. She’s proven nothing in respect to her movie or singing career, and with both having been promising not two years ago, this girl might have landed herself in the “has-been” pile before reaching her mid-twenties.

My hope? She’ll do what Drew Barrymore did. Go hide away for a few years, return still sober, but with a strong work ethic and time away from the paparazzi. If she took a break from shopping and mugging for photogs, and settled in to work on her career, she could still make a comeback. But as long as she’s out and about in black leggings shopping every night, she’s doomed.

Another typical weekend for Lindsay, she was spotted on Saturday with a friend in Brentwood, shopping at trendy boutique Madison before heading to the salon for what must be the tenth time this month alone. It’s got to be annoying to have to spend that much time keeping those extensions glued to her head and her roots touched up!

I’m so shocked by this picture, I don’t really know what to do! Lindsay was spotted out at the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf (her daily stop) yesterday, but she wasn’t wearing leggings! Did she finally get my memo that leggings are so last season it hurts? Or did she just finally decide to do some laundry, and underneath those jeans are the granny panties every girl keeps in the back of the drawer for laundry day?

I guess we’ll have to wait and see if she sports leggings again today before we know for sure.

Sheesh! You take half a day off, and look what happens! Lindsay’s gone and dyed her hair back to a dark brown (and looks mighty good, I might add), and might just have also dumped Riley! I was flipping channels last night and saw on TMZ’s tv show that she was out with Stavros Niarchos, who might have gotten back together with Mary Kate Olsen (although if he did it was just to piss Paris off, natch), but then he was out with Lindsay. Who has been noticably sans Riley recently.

I also remember Lindsay saying something about how you can tell how happy or depressed she is based on her hair color. The lighter it gets the more satisfied she is with her life. If that’s true, then let the partying and drugging begin anew, because Lindsay’s got the dark hair again!

Now that she’s a free bird, Lindsay’s back to making questionable fashion choices all over town. This time it’s a white knitted headband worn Karate Kid style. Hopefully someone around her will smack her and tell her that a headband of that nature is not her best look. I’m all for hand-knit, but there’s a time (and a spot on the body) to wear it, and this headband? Not the right way.

No, no, Lindsay’s not shooting heroin now. She is chasing another habit, however. Her serious shopping habit. She was seen the other day over on Robertson Blvd, a classic paparazzi hotspot. Anyone who’s anyone will head there to be seen and photographed. Proof that Lindsay isn’t letting go of most of her bad habits is this photo-op moment.

At least she’s not drinking or drugging. Yet.

Lindsay might lose her campaign with fashion house Jill Stuart because of her time in rehab.

Lindsay, who has an advertising deal as the face of Jill Stuart’s latest fashion campaign, is allegedly in a serious jam because the Japanese branch of the company are not happy about her latest behavior. “The Japanese [Jill Stuart] licensee paid for [the campaign], and they wanted to pull the plug when she went to rehab,” a source told the New York Daily News. “Japan accounts for the lion’s share of the business.” Lindsay was going to appear in the 2007 autumn campaign for Jill Stuart and shot the advertisements in April. But when Lindsay was photographed passed out in her car recently, the Japanese are rumored to have said that they did not want to be involved in the project anymore.

However, there seems to be hope for Lindsay yet. According to Ron Curtis, Jill Stuart CEO, Lindsay’s time in rehab is not going to influence the campaign at all. “The ads are running as planned, and we have the utmost support for Lindsay and her rehabilitation, and she is doing great,” he said. “They will also appear in all of the major lifestyle fashion magazines for fall in Asia and the U.S.”

I reckon that whatever happens with the campaign, the most important thing is for Lindsay to get better.

Recently Lindsay Lohan was accused of stealing her ex-friend’s clothing. Apparently, Lindsay went over to the woman’s house when she was away on business and told the house-sitter that she wanted to collect some of clothes and belongings that she had left there some time ago. The woman agreed, but when the owner of the house returned and found that stuff to the value of $10 000 was missing, she freaked out!

But now it turns out that the woman who accused Lindsay of stealing from her home lied! According to Eonline.com, the LA county District Attorney’s office dismissed the woman’s complaint because there was not enough evidence and too many holes in her story.

The complaint said that Lindsay was invited to the woman’s apartment while she was away by the house-sitter and was spotted walking out with several clear bags of clothing when she left. She even showed paparazzi photos of Lindsay wearing her stolen clothes, but it was later discovered by police that the pictures were taken a week before the robbery was supposed to have occurred! The house-sitter came forward and defended Lindsay by saying that the clothes she left with were actually hers after all.

This is not the first time Lindsay has been accused of nicking stuff. Recently at a GQ party, Lindsay was accused of stealing Kelly Osbourne’s handbag. But it later transpired that Lindsay had nothing to do with Kelly’s misplaced handbag and actually helped her search for it.

There are many rumors going around that Lindsay Lohan is a thief! Apparently, Lindsay went to model Lauren Hastings house for a shopping spree, but Lauren wasn’t home - she was at a photo shoot in Texas. Lindsay made herself at home in her former friend’s house and later left with $10 000 worth of items, including clothes, shoes and bags. Lauren’s friend who was house-sitting for her let Lindsay in because the Mean Girls actress claimed to have left some clothes at Lauren’s house. Sneaky, sneaky. Reports claim that Lindsay had no shame about what she did and later joked about it with her girlfriends, DJ Samantha Ronson and Nicole Richie (yes she and Linds are back to being friends). The poor house-sitter (wouldn’t wanna be in her shoes!) just assumed Lindsay and Lauren were still good friends, until Lauren returned from her trip the next day and freaked out. According to reports, she started yelling, “Where are all of my clothes? Where are my things?” So she sent Lindsay a text message telling her to return all her stuff and a row ensued! A source claims that Lauren told Lindsay she will go to the police and press charges, but Lindsay shot back by saying that Lauren’s delusional and doesn’t know what she’s talking about! Lindsay’s rep has denied that any of this has happened (no surprise there). What I have to ask is: if Lindsay was really intending to steal Lauren’s things, surely she wouldn’t have done it herself, just by walking in? I mean, if Lauren’s belongings are sitting at her house and Lauren knows about it, well, that would just be silly on Lindsay’s part.

One thing about Lindsay Lohan is that you can’t pigeonhole her to a role. From playing the new girl in school to snagging the role of a stripper, she seems to always raise the bar on her efforts. And in her latest movie, Lindsay goes one step further by playing the role of a drug-taking hippie. According to reports, she is ecstatic about it. “[The movie] is about a group of kids taking a cross-country trip when one of them drops acid, goes crazy and starts, like, killing people,” Lindsay said. That sounds, like, interesting.

For the movie Lindsay will be working with director Chris Silverston who also directed her in I Know Who Killed Me. Lindsay chats a bit about what it’s like to work with Chris. “I have so much faith in Chris and I just love working with him. I love him so much as a person… I think Chris is going to be huge. I have no doubt in my mind about that,” she says.

In other news, Lindsay has already hit Japan, where she is doing her modeling stint for designer Jill Stuart, and she’s already been firing up the party scene! According to Hollyscoop.com, Lindsay has wasted no time sussing out the nightlife with DJ Samantha Ronson. Sigh, all in a day’s work for La Lohan.

According to a news report by China Daily, Stuart has signed the modeling contract with Lindsay to showcase her new fall collection. Lindsay’s going to be in the fall advertising campaign for Stuart, which is being shot in Japan. She’s going to appear in ads for Stuart’s high-end line and the new Jill by Jill Stuart, which is targeted at younger fashionistas. For all you curious fashion divas who can’t check out the runway collection yourself, here’s a scoop: it focuses on black, white, metallics, layers and lace.

It seems Lindsay and fashion mesh well together because her modeling career is flourishing. First she snags a modeling gig as the new face of Miu Miu fashion house, and now Stuart’s got her booked as well. You can’t deny Lindsay is known for her fashion sense – and she’s regarded as a huge influence when it comes to fashion trends of young women…

…But sometimes she slips up and makes a huge fashion faux pas.
