Okay, so we all know that the young celebrities used to be snapped left, right and center without a smidgen of underwear on. That’s old news. But it was such a big fashion don’t by the end of 2006, that some celebrities are still coming forward to claim that they are pro-underwear. Like Jessica Simpson, star of the Dukes of Hazzard. Jessica claims that she will never get caught going commando like Lindsay and the rest because she always covers up her private parts. According to a report on the site contactmusic.com, the actress/singer is quite frankly astonished that so many young celebrities have been snapped out of their drawers and says she’d be horrified to find pictures of her genitals all over magazines and the internet. As would we all! “I don’t understand what’s going on with that. I’m the kind of girl who always puts my hand between my legs when I’m getting out of a car if I’m wearing a short skirt,â€? Jessica says. “I always wear underwear. It’s a personal rule.” You see? And there for a while everyone thought Jessica Simpson was just another dumb blond.

Lindsay Lohan has had quite an effect on the fashion choices of girls and women in the UK. Not only do they want to copy the celebrity’s style, but they’re going to great lengths to do so- even if that means finding themselves totally broke!
A report on the UK site Daily News has reported that big-spending girls are up to their knees in debts of more than £25,000 because they are trying so hard to copy stylish stars like La Lohan, who is always pictured looking uber-trendy and shopping up a storm of her own. There’s even a name for this craze now – The Lohan Effect.
Just check out the stats: studies have shown that there has been a massive 60% increase in the number of women between the ages of 20 and 35 who are finding themselves in financial problems. And a whopping 80% of women feel pressured to follow the latest trends and have up-to-the-minute fashion in their wardrobes.
When it comes to the celebrities UK women most want to look like, a survey reveals that Lindsay tops the list, and she’s followed by Victoria Beckham in second place, Nicole Richie in third and Coleen McLoughlin in fourth.

At a recent Los Angeles event, Lindsay Lohan must have been pleased to draw everyone’s eyes to her - this time in a good way!
The event was a children’s charity gala, but besides for getting involved in the good cause, Lindsay was also praised for hitting the right fashion notes, along with Mischa Barton and Mary-Kate Olsen.
Lindsay, who loves fashion so much that she has called herself a ‘fashion whore’, got appreciative stares in a gorgeous design by Dolce and Gabbana, who were also hosts of the party.
