Of course I pick this day to get sick and sleep all day! Today at 10:30am Lindsay turned herself in to the Century Regional Detention Center in Lynwood, California. The same place Paris Hilton spent her jail time was home to Li Lo for all of two hours, falling just short of Nicole Richie’s 82 minutes earlier this year.

Paris must be so pissed that she had to be in jail for almost a month and Lindsay just had to be there for two hours! wonder if she’ll have to complete any more of her community service or if that’s all over with, too?

Yesterday Lindsay started her community service detail, the first of ten days of such exciting tasks as picking up trash and handing out cookies to people after they’ve given blood. This might just mean she’s done filming her latest movie disaster. That, or they’ve paused filming so the starlet can give back. Yesterday she spent her time at the Red Cross in Pomona, CA, no doubt trying to steal meds from the back room and signing autographs.

I’m sure she was doing all sorts of good deeds (such as the aforementioned cookies to blood donors), as she will no doubt continue to do her entire community service stint. And hopefully she’ll be just as good during her 24-hour jail sentence, although I still say that will end up being about as long as Nicole Richie’s.

Well, maybe. In what’s shaping up to be a Riley-centered few days, reports are coming in that Lindsay’s rehab love might have to serve hard time for a few incidents earlier this year. Seems he was on probation in Utah for forging a Xanax perscription (which is probably what landed him in rehab), and also got busted for a DUI in Vegas in May. And did he mention this to his Utah probation officer? Nope. Nice. This means if Lindsay’s lawyers can’t pull a fast one for him he could face some jail time.

Best part? Former fiance Breanna Tierney was injured in the DUI.

Who knows, maybe the pair can do their jail time together, as Lindsay’s required to spend one full day in jail by January 18 for the driving rampage that ultimately landed her in rehab for the third time. Who wants to bet she’ll be in for less time than Nicole Richie was?
