Wednesday night Lindsay attended a private dinner party held by Charlotte Ronson, Samantha’s sister. Here’s a few pics, thanks to Wire Image.

In what might be some sort of small step in the right direction (away from the clothes and the paparazzi-lined streets) Lindsay was caught leaving the grocery store yesterday. Stores with brown bags like this usually mean health food, so here’s hoping there’s not a lot of junk in those bags to go along with her potential re-emerging alcohol habit (more on that later).

Scoring one for mom’s everywhere, Dina Lohan’s been telling people she doesn’t understand why her daughter had to go to rehab. Apparently her daughter’s DUI seems the same to her as a college kid getting a DUI, and in her words, “Like, if you’re in college and you get a D.U.I., you don’t go to rehab. It’s just ridiculous!”

Yeah, Dina, if you’re in college and you get a DUI you don’t go to rehab. Sure. But if you hijack someone’s car with them and two of their friends in it, and then try to sneak coke into jail with you? Then you need to go to rehab. And when you aren’t even 21 and admitting you’ve been partying for years and telling people OF YOUR OWN ACCORD that you’ve got a problem, and when your every move is splashed all over the television and magazines? Then you go to rehab. Even if just to save your career.

There are plenty of stars who quietly party much harder than Lindsay ever did, I’m sure. She just chose to do it so that everyone was watching and critiquing her. And that’s the fastest way to end your Hollywood career. Just look at Britney Spears! Or Mel Gibson. Or Dog the Bounty Hunter (Hah!) … they all aired their dirty laundry willingly and have crushed their careers. Take note, Dina, take note.

Looks like Lindsay’s been changing more than bad habits lately! Taking a page out of the Britney Spears Guide To Ending Your Career, Lindsay’s been seen around LA sporting a pair of obviously enhanced lips. I was trying to hope they were enlarged for her new movie, but I’m betting she just did it because she needed some sort of rush now that she’s not boozing and drugging.

Does anyone out there even like the puffy lips look? Most stars who get this done get made fun of, ripped to shreds in the press. Hell, even non-famous women who get this done get made fun of behind their backs. So why did Linds feel the need to go this route?

I just hope they shrink back to their normal size at some point in the near future. Collagen doesn’t last forever, does it?

Now that she’s off filming her first post-rehab movie, rumors are already starting to hit the net that Lindsay’s already found her post-filming home. In Utah.

Her father “expects [Lindsay] to come back to Utah to live, receive continued counseling and attend Alcoholics Anonymous meetings. “It looks like she may have already found a house,” he said, noting that she currently stays in a rental near the lodge.”

I’m glad to hear she hasn’t been staying in a hotel all this time, instead opting to stay in more normal diggs. It’ll be interesting to see how fast it takes for pics of the supposed house to surface!

Lindsay’s done with Hollywood (or so the interview-happy rehab graduate is saying). Suer, she’ll head to Tinsel Town to film her movies, but other than those rare occasions, she’s decided to stay in Utah, close to the Cirque Lodge and away from temptation.

Lindsay said: “I’m staying in Utah until it’s time to shoot ‘Dare to Love Me’, and then I plan on returning to Utah so I can stay focused and avoid other distractions. From now on I plan to surround myself with good people who have their hearts and their minds in the right places. While I’ve been in Utah I have only spoken to my family.”

I’m sure the people of Utah are jumping for joy at the thought of a known partier like Lindsay setting up residence in their quiet state. How long before she starts throwing parties at the hotel she’s staying at, buys a house DIRECTLY on a ski resort so her new boyfriend has constant access (snort) and stumbles drunkenly through the next Sundance film festival?

Lindsay Lohan, Cirque Lodge, Utah

Now that she’s a rehab graduate, Lindsay’s thinking towards the future. There’s already rumors of her writing a book about addiction and her struggle to stay sober, but the newest rumor is that she’ll head to college!

Gone Hollywood is reporting she’s looking at heading to New York University to study psychology, but some sources are saying this move as more to do with her inability to get movie roles than her desire to be a model student.

“It will most likely take years of perfect behaviour before Lindsay will work again.

“It will literally cost a network millions to insure her for a movie and as talented as she is, it is highly unlikely that studios will be quick to get her back on the set.”

I’m not sure if I believe she’s actually heading to college either way, because if she’s smart she’ll just focus on staying in one place, staying sober, and staying healthy. But knowing La Lohan, she’ll be back in LA before we know it, heading out to the clubs while working on a new album and filming a new movie!

Okay, so I know this rumor is a few weeks old now, but I just had to bring it back up. Before she was out of rehab rumors started swirling that Lindsay was going to write a book about her time in rehab and her struggles with addiction.

Once source said, “She found solace in reading memoirs of others who suffered to overcome their addictions, and she wants to similarly put her experiences out there.”

I’m not sure if I believe this, mostly because celeb books of this nature usually have some sort of ghost writer attached to them. So even if we do see a book “by” Lindsay in the future, it probably won’t be written by her alone.

Besides, I think a book of this nature would be MUCH more believable if she waited a few years, stayed sober and got her life back on track, and then was able to speak of her time as a past thing. Writing about it while it’s still happening might make people think she’s simply trying to capitalize on her struggle.

It looks as though Lindsay actually did leave rehab. Pics are surfacing (mostly on Just Jared’s site) of her being picked up by her father and his new, un-named girlfriend, heading out to have some food and then parting ways. Since Friday, however, no photos have surfaced of the pop tartlet. Here’s hoping she’s laying low and keeping clean, getting ready for her new movie role.

One bad habit Lindsay can’t trash!

Not only has Lindsay Lohan joined AA, replaced alcohol with Red Bull and said that she wants to rid herself of negative influences, but she has a New Year’s Resolution to continue working towards a pro-clean life. She is getting her health back on track – literally!

Yesterday, a report published by The Mirror claimed that Lindsay was spotted jogging in Miami yesterday, clad in quite revealing sportswear. It seems that her New Year’s Resolution is to exercise more. A friend of the Mean Girls star says that Lindsay’s been complaining about looking bloated after the festive season and wants to get into shape. Seems celebrities aren’t so different to the rest of the population, eh?

But we can’t prop a shiny gold halo on Lindsay’s head just yet. The funny thing is that despite her making an effort to be healthy, she was seen jogging with a cigarette in her hand!

I guess she’s not ready to trash the cigs along with the mini bar contents just yet. But her efforts so far are a good start. Maybe she’s going to try to work on leading a healthier lifestyle in 2007, one step at a time. No pun intended.
