Looks like Lindsay spent quite a bit of time on the web pages of People this weekend! She went out to Times Square’s Hawaiian Tropic Zone to support friend Samantha Ronson, who was DJ’ing there from midnight until 4am. The pair showed up on time, and Lindsay enjoyed the night dancing and drinking Grey Goose and Red Bull cocktails. Should she be doing that if she’s in recovery?! When Samantha was done with her set at 4am, the pair snuck out in a Black Escalade.

All the news from the weekend wasn’t good, however. Lindsay also finally spoke out publicly against her father, who’s been spending a lot of time talking to the media about her.

“I just wish that he wouldn’t go and talk to the media,” she said Friday on radio’s The Billy Bush Show. “It’s not attractive to me, it really upsets me and I wish he would stop. … I love my father. I just don’t know why he’s doing what he’s doing. It’s a weird situation, very odd.”

Here’s hoping her father gets that message!

It’s been a busy few days for Lindsay. She and a friend were eating at a bakery in LA, and the sight of her caused such a ruckus that one waiter dropped an entire tray of pastries as she was leaving! Could it be just excitement at the sight of her, or was it her see through pants?

Too bad she didn’t wear a longer shirt with those leggings. One of these days she’ll learn that she’s got to ditch those things … they’re so out of fashion even Walmart has stopped selling them!

In rumor news, Lindsay’s dad seems to be trying to dissuade the negative press that’s been surrounding him (again) lately, what with reopening his divorce case and all that. He’s been telling people that Lindsay will be joining him on a missions trip to India in the near future. Michael’s joined up with a group called Times Square Church Missions.

“Our trip next February encompasses the issue of child sexual slavery in India. We also deal with helping AIDS victims,” he tells In Touch. “She has made it clear she definitely wants to come along.”

Too bad for Michael this latest bout of bullshit is simply that. Bullshit. Lindsay’s reps have vehemently denied her involvement in this mission work, and I’m really not surprised. She’s too busy with a variety of music and movie projects to head off with her father. Too bad for Michael all this has done is tarnish his image even further.

After finally hopping a plane to New York on the 22nd, Lindsay was spotted out eating with her father on Sunday. The pair entered Da Silvano restaurant separately, and Michael brought along a present for Lindsay. Which I guess answers the question as to which parent she spent Christmas day with!

After completing just her first day of commuity service, Papa Lohan is already speaking out about his daughter’s feelings during her day of helping others (or standing outside the Red Cross for 40 minutes. Whatever.)

“When she was younger I had her at hospitals, visiting cancer patients and sick kids,” he tells People. “I know she wants to do stuff like this, mission work. I asked her how it was going and she said she is really enjoying it. She’s happy.”
Mission work? It’s called getting off easy after endangering the lives of half a dozen people, Michael. If she wants to do “mission work” she should talk to her frenemy Paris Hilton, see if she can’t get on board for that postphoned Africa trip or something! I love it!

No event is too Christian for Michael Lohan, and this time he’s in Daytona Beach promoting something called GodMen (which sounds like a 21st century version of Promise Keepers). He took the opportunity to talk about his family, natch, saying he thinks Linday’s in a good place, he wishes Dina the best, and he likes Riley despite the four times he’s been arrested in his short life!

“I don’t think anyone has the right to judge Riley. They [Lindsay & Riley] keep each other in line. They go to meetings with one another.”

Really Michael? Are you just saying that because of the amount of jail time you’ve put in? Here’s hoping that for once you’re right about things, and Riley and Lindsay are good for one another.

Thanks to Papa Lohan, we can all know sleep easier. It seems our little Lindsay is NOT engaged to Riley, despite the ring on her left hand suggesting she may be. Papa Lohan claims the ring is one he gave his glowing (orange?) little girl, as a promise ring.

Does that seem creepy to anyone else but me? Isn’t a promise ring something a man gives his girlfriend, as sort of a “someday we’ll get married” thing? Maybe he got confused between Lindsay and his newest girlfriend, and meant to give it to the lookalike and not the real thing? Here’s hoping.

If it is a ring from Riley, let’s hope Lindsay’s okay with CZ because we all know he does it like that!

Now that we know Lindsay’s main man isn’t opposed to engagements (or is he?!?!), rumors have been flying that LiLo’s the next o his list. While most of us would agree that’s the worst idea for Lindsay right now, Papa Lohan is telling whomever will listen that his precious daughter is most certainly NOT getting married any time soon.

And because he still thinks his daughter is made of ponies and glitter, he had this to say. “I don’t know anything about Lindsay being engaged. If she did, she would have come to me, or Riley would have come to me himself.”

Riley would most certainly NOT come to him! Are you kidding! He didn’t have the stones to break up with his last girlfriend in person, so why would he go to Papa Lohan to ask permission to marry this one?!?!

Virginia Bertolino, one of Michael Lohan’s many(?) girlfriends is speaking out about the end of their relationship. She’s saying he two-timed her … with Jesus.

She says she was particularly jolted because Michael has become an ordained minister. “When he was melancholy once, I asked him, ‘Is there someone else in your life?’ He said, ‘Yes.’ I said, ‘Who is that?’ and he said, ‘God.’ He betrayed me.”

Hahahah! That’s hilarious! Most women would love their man to be all into Jesus like that, but not this Long Island looker! At least Michael’s got himself a new girlfriend to keep him occupied when Jesus is busy with other people.

Am I the only one that finds this creepy? Michael Lohan’s been seen around town (in both Utah and Cali) with his new girlfriend (and possible fiance?). While we may not know her name yet, we do know she looks a little to similar to Lindsay for this not to be creepy.

Seriously, who wants to date someone that could be their daughter’s stunt double? I’ll give that in some pictures she looks less like Lindsay than in others (for example, the pics of them picking Lindsay up from rehab) but still. Same hair color, same style, even looks like the same sort of walk.

That’s super creepy Michael Lohan! I’m surprised more people aren’t skeeved out by this!

It looks as though Lindsay actually did leave rehab. Pics are surfacing (mostly on Just Jared’s site) of her being picked up by her father and his new, un-named girlfriend, heading out to have some food and then parting ways. Since Friday, however, no photos have surfaced of the pop tartlet. Here’s hoping she’s laying low and keeping clean, getting ready for her new movie role.

Now that Lindsay’s left rehab, rumors are swirling as to why, and for how long.

While all agree she’s left the confines of Cirque Lodge, there’s two different ideas as to why. First there’s that movie that’s been put off in her absence, Dare To Love Me. Us Magazine is reporting she’s spent the weekend in Utah with her estranged father, and then travelled the few hours to L.A. to begin filming the movie.

Pop Sugar is reporting, however, that LL is just on her way to LA long enough to see a dentist. They’re saying (as is TMZ) that the rumors of her leaving rehab are just that … rumors. She did take time this weekend to be with her father, but she is just heading to LA to get her teeth fixed (and/or bleached) and then she’s headed right back to rehab.

We’ll see in the days ahead which story is true.

Although Lindsay Lohan was due to be discharged from rehab after a month, which was later this week, rumor has it the Bobby star might be staying longer. Apparently this is also the reason why she cancelled her wild 21st birthday plans in Las Vegas - so it’s bye-bye to temptation and hello recovery. A source told the New York Post that Lindsay might not be out of rehab by the time her birthday swings around on the 2nd July. “She is staying in Promises [rehab] for longer than a month. We don’t know how much longer because of her work schedule, but she is taking rehab very seriously this time and not messing around.”

According to a report by Fametastic, Lindsay’s dad, Michael Lohan, is thrilled that his daughter has ditched her party plans so that she can work on staying sober. “It was absurd and thank God she called it off,” he told The Insider. He’s also very glad that Lindsay has been turning to religion during her time in rehab, saying, “Lindsay has found this righteous path because she’s going to church and that’s a good sign.”

Peace, dad, but don’t come near me.

It’s official: Lindsay Lohan has made it clear what she wants from her dad. Recently, the Herbie actress told security guards to keep her father out of the club where she was DJ-ing for the night and all she wanted to do was avoid her father. We wondered if perhaps a reunion would be on the cards, but now Lindsay has finally spoken to her dad Michael (who was recently released from prison). And unfortunately for him, she made it clear that she does not want him to be a part of her life. “Lindsay told him, ‘You still haven’t changed. Don’t go near my mother again,’” a source told the New York Post. “Then Lindsay called her mother Dina and told her to be careful and to take care of her brother and sister.” But Michael blames Lindsay’s uncle Paul for the strained relationship between himself and his daughter. “Paul set me up, spread lies and rumors about me, and convinced Lindsay to ‘distance’ herself from me. Paul even pressed false charges against me to have me arrested. He called me a con man, but he’s a con man,” Michael said. Hmm, spoken like a true con man.
Well, looks like the Lohans aren’t going to become the next Brady Bunch any time soon.

So the girl is back to partying, but that’s not the only thing about Lindsay Lohan that has returned - her diva antics also made a comeback recently when she was seen shouting obscenities at fans. Lindsay was hosting a DJ set at Manhattan’s Plumm nightclub a few nights ago during which a smitten crowd refused to stop taking photographs of her. According to starpulse.com., Lindsay turned off the music off in the DJ booth and screamed at the fans who were clicking away with their cameras. “If I see one more f—ing flashbulb go off, I’m going to stop the music and get out of here,” she said. Complete silence fell onto the crowd and fans took the star’s threat seriously, putting their cameras away so that Lindsay could continue. Aside from star-struck fans, Lindsay was having a stressful night. She was so anti the idea of her father, Michael Lohan, pitching up at the party that she asked the club to hire extra security guards to keep him out! She showed a picture of her estranged father to the bouncers at the door and instructed them to keep him out should he show his face. So despite Michael’s interest in working on a relationship with his daughter, and her supposed “delight” at the idea, it seems Lindsay is keeping him – and fans – at arm’s length. Yep, the old Lindsay’s back alright.
