So, I’m thinking those “back to dark hair” pictures were old, because not only was Lindsay spotted on Sunday at the Lakers game with her blond hair, here she is filming a commercial on the streets of Los Angeles earlier on Tuesday. What she’s shooting for, no one knows. Yet. That doesn’t stop us from speculating, however. She looks pretty, but also incredibly bored. Poor Lindsay … those financial trouble rumors are looking truer and truer with every shot. And considering she didn’t even make 4 million last year (which pales in comparison to the likes of Britney and the Olsen twins), she needs all the cash she can get!

Lindsay has done it again – something controversial to get everyone to stop and take notice. This time, she’s appearing on the cover of US magazine Radar holding a handgun. The caption reads, ‘Hollywood vs. the paparazzi – it’s war!’ A headline then reads, ‘Desperate Tabloids. Secret Payoffs. Violent Showdowns. No Wonder Lindsay’s Fully Loaded.’

According to a report by The Post Chronicle, Lindsay happily waved a 9mm Glock and a Thompson submachine and flamethrower for the photo shoot. However, Lindsay’s spokesman says that she’s not angry with all photographers, just worried about the few who won’t stop at any cost to get a good picture. Editor-in-chief of the magazine, Maer Roshan, said Lindsay was eager to be seen on the cover with a handgun because she wanted to send a message. “”I want people to pay attention,” she told Us. Mission accomplished.

Lindsay told Radar that it’s important for the public to be informed of the dangerous cat-and-mouse games the paparazzi play with celebrities. Lohan’s publicist, Leslie Sloane-Zelnick, also mentioned that the situation is out of control and it’s only a matter of time before someone dies.

Lindsay has had her difficulties with the paparazzi in the past. She recently found herself being accused by a photographer who said she’d knocked him down with her BMW, but she told police that her car had been swarmed with photographers as she was pulling into a hotel. Although she loves having her picture taken, Lindsay has said that the paparazzi get in the way of her work and her chance of getting her hands on an Oscar.

Yes, celebrities whine about the ever-curious paparazzi, but surely they’re glad that they’re taken notice of? Lindsay admits ‘YES!’ She recently told US magazine Nylon that although it can be too much at times, she does like being snapped. “I get embarrassed about the paparazzi if I’m in a chic restaurant, or when I was in the AA meetings. I feel really disrespectful because those people are doing that for themselves and it’s no one else’s business.
“But that was the only time it was embarrassing. Other times, I obviously like it… I wouldn’t ever want them to not take my picture… I’d be worried.”
And if she’s not the subject of a picture, she starts to worry that she is no longer cared for. Awww, shame. “I wouldn’t ever want [the paparazzi] to not take my picture… I’d be worried. I’d be like ‘Do people not care for me’?” she says.

Over the last few months Lindsay’s been in and out of rehab, she then claimed she’s not an alcoholic, she’s been rumored to be in a lesbian relationship, she’s been dropping out of movies and causing a stir on film sets where she actually stays, she’s fought with other celebrities, had her appendix removed and allegedly stole $10 000 worth of stuff from a former friend. And that’s just some of the stuff that’s been going on Planet La Lohan. Sheesh, it just goes to show that becoming anonymous is the last thing Lindsay should worry about!

Lindsay has been referred to as a “knock-out” by the press after being accused of knocking down a photographer with her car (let’s hope she won’t be called a “bombshell” any time soon, then).

As was suspected, the incident is turning into a battle of he-said, she-said stories. Lindsay’s side of the story, and what she told the police, is that she was driving friends in her mom’s 2004 BMW when they pulled into Manhattan’s Hotel Gansevoort at 3am to dodge paparazzi who were on her tail, closing in on her. One photographer, identified as Giovanni Arnold, even resorted to jumping on the hood of her car! But according to Fox News, Giovanni’s employer, INF Photo, has a very different idea of what really happened. INF claims that Arnold was innocently standing in front of Lindsay’s BMW when she suddenly put it into reverse and then drove off, knocking him down. “She got out of the car to look at Giovanni on the ground as she’s talking to a cop and then she’s allowed to leave,” said Dawn Leikness, INF sales director. “The other photographers there threw a fit that she was allowed to leave. The cops then asked her friends to call her to come back, and she came back.”

Although Giovanni’s version of events seems a bit grim, so far it’s not such damaging news for Lindsay because sources have told the Post that police believe what she had to say, despite investigating the incident some more.

You can peroxide your hair, wear sunglasses or walk around with a hood, but if you’re a celebrity, you just can’t escape the paparazzi. Case in point: Lindsay tried her best to hide her face from photographers the other night in New York, but the paparazzi sure know how to get all up in celebrities’ faces – and get a reaction out of them. One of the photographers implied that Lindsay was going to drive home drunk. Oh no you didn’t…

According to TMZ, Lindsay was spotted outside Butter and one of her friends concealed her face with a coat (but obviously that wasn’t enough to keep the photographers off her tail). Blasé, Lindsay decided to show her face to the cameras and looked like she didn’t mind all the attention. The photographer who suggested she was drunk started to shout, “I hope she’s not driving! Yo, why you driving drunk?” Lindsay, who was carrying her trademark bottle of water, shot him a look that was sure to stop him in his tracks. Can’t say we blame her. She then got into her car and drove off, nearly causing an accident.

How strange it is that just hours after Lindsay’s dad was released from prison, Lindsay experiences her own brush with the police? Well, that’s exactly what happened - and it could’ve been ugly because reports are saying that yesterday Lindsay hit a photographer with her car! According to Access Hollywood, in the early hours on Tuesday morning, after Lindsay partied at Club Butter in New York City, she got into her car and drove away. She was, however, being tailed by photographers, so she put foot and resorted to skipping red lights and driving recklessly to keep her car ahead of theirs. Another report, this time by the Post Chronicle, mentions that Lindsay ended up driving towards a photographer. Suddenly, the guy fell down and claimed that the Herbie star had run him over! But Lindsay stuck to her guns and retorted that she had not hit him and he was just ‘faking it.’ Yep, he might just be trying to get some moolah and negative publicity for the star out of this situation. Police allowed Lindsay to leave the scene but they did question her later. As for the so-called injured photographer, he was sent to the hospital and treated for a bruised knee before being released.
