She sang about coming first and now she’s living that dream! Lindsay Lohan has clinched the number one spot on Maxim’s eighth annual ‘Hot 100’ list which features the world’s most gorgeous women.

The women are ranked by editors who look at the beauty of women in sports, TV, fashion, music and film - and the buzz created by them. So it’s no wonder Lindsay made it! Aside from her beauty, she always finds herself caught between the tabloid pages for her latest controversy, which is usually hot on the heels of the one before. Maxim’s editor-in-chief Jimmy Jellinek explained in a statement that there’s no other celebrity in the world who causes more of a stir in the public eye than La Lohan. Yep, he’s got that right! “Her every move is watched and reported on,” he said. It seems not just by the paparazzi - Jimmy added that the magazine’s male readers are obsessed with the film star.

Close on Lindsay’s tail in the number two spot was Jessica Alba, followed by Scarlett Johansson, Christina Aguilera, Jessica Biel, Ali Larter, Eva Mendes, Rihanna, Eva Longoria, Fergie, Sienna Miller, Angelina Jolie, Beyoncé Knowles and Katherine Heigl.

Sheesh, she even beat Eva and Angelina – that’s no easy task. It seems controversy and beauty are as tight as Lindsay and her new squeeze, Calum Best.

In an interview with Vanity Fair, Lindsay came clean about her weight issues and drug experimentation. She said that the reasons behind her problems were the difficult relationship she has with her father, Michael Lohan; the stress of being in the spotlight; and the nasty breakup she went through with Wilmer Valderrama (who she was seen chatting to in Miami on New Year’s Eve).
“I was making myself sick. I was sick,â€? she bluntly told the magazine. “I had people sit me down and say, ‘You’re going to die if you don’t take care of yourself.’” Lindsay’s light-bulb moment came when her mom showed her a picture of herself looking super-skinny. “I looked at it and was like, ‘Jesus Christ’,” Lindsay recalls. “My sister, she was scared. My brother called me, crying.”
Apart for her recent weight worries, Lindsay has said that she is no longer using drugs by firmly saying, “I’ve gotten that out of my system.”
Hopefully Lindsay is talking about her food and drug issues so that she can start over on a clean slate – and stay out of the tabloids for being a bad role model.

A person Lindsay could learn from is Drew Barrymore. This former Hollywood wild child who got her own life back on track has this advice for Lindsay (and Britney): “You just have to try to be as graceful as you can,” she said, according to the New York Daily News. “You flub, you flub. And that’s life. I think: Do what you want, but just be professional.”
Perhaps this Angel could be a good mentor for Lindsay.

This is according to an article that featured at Mirror.co.uk. Ahead of her in the number three spot was 50Cent, while Paris Hilton came in at number two. The late crocodile hunter Steve Irwin finished in first place as the most searched celebrity of 2006.

Recently Lindsay confessed to loving junk food, but it seems she’s a tad confused about what carbs actually are.

After Lindsay told OK! magazine that she loves eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, sushi and McDonald’s, she added, “But I don’t do any carbs or sugar.”
Lindsay has also claimed that she follows the Hollywood golden rule of dieting, which states that carbohydrates are a no-no.
Is she confused about where she stands on the carb issue or just confused about her food groups?

Say bye-bye to Lindsay’s skinny days – the Freaky Friday star says she’s over her ‘body worry’ days. She told Britain’s OK! Magazine that it’s okay to not like your body, but as you get older you grow into it and accept it. “Everyone goes through that phase where you’re not comfortable in your own skin. Then you learn you have to be confident with yourself and that shows through the most. You want to be sexy,â€? she says.
Lindsay also confessed that she’s got a soft spot for delicious food. “I eat all types of things. I love peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.�

Lindsay and her mom, Dina Lohan, were spotted last weekend leaving an aerobics studio in Los Angeles. Not just any old aerobics studio, though – the class involves strip tease and pole dance lessons.
The two Lohans have often been snapped together, attending parties or going to clubs, and it seems Dina could be giving her daughter a run for her money when it comes to partying hard!
Dina was recently seen with a younger man leaving Hyde, a Hollywood hotspot. The two tried to run and hide from the paparazzi but were unsuccessful.
In the past, Lindsay has been worried about her mother’s wild partying. Although she herself was spotted partying hard every night last week, she has been replacing alcohol with water in an attempt to cut down on her heavy drinking. To help her stick to her guns about being sober, Lindsay has been hanging out with non-celebrity friends instead of friend and fellow party animal, Paris Hilton.
