Lindsay has finally popped back up on the Hollywood scene, after an overseas trip with Samantha that was broiled in conflict, DJ Gigs and hotel openings. In front of the cameras, Lindsay and Sam continued to smile and work the red carpet at the opening of Atlantis Dubai Hotel - where Sam was to DJ the after party.

While jetting around, it was reported that Lindsay and Samantha have been having a rough time of it, arguing and sniping at each other over ex boyfriends and other relationship breaking stuff. According to insiders they were “fighting like cats and dogs” every day, with screaming and crying and that dash of Lohan drama that we love so well. They are quite a bit apart in age, and most insiders cite that as the cause of their drama.

Lindsay’s spent the past few days pretty much laying low - but that doesn’t mean you can’t own her likeness for your little girl for Christmas. No, I’m not kidding. Lindsay is a doll, er, HAS a doll - and right now it’s on clearance. Marked down 80%. Ouch. If you want one, though - hit up KB Toys online where it’s only $4.99.

Anyway, Lindsay was out and about today without Samantha, as she headed to an appointment with her psyciatrist, then hit up the Balenciaga for a little bit of retail therapy to finish out her afternoon. I wonder where Samantha was for the day? I have a feeling we’ll see them out together very soon though, and all this will be water under the bridge as we work toward the holidays. Surely Sam has a lot of DJing to do - that aughta keep them busy. Right?

…and I can’t say as I blame her, exactly. Lindsay was spotted out shopping with Samantha Ronson in New York, the same day her father was attending the wake of her grandfather. Richard Lohan died at the age of 73 after a long battle with colon cancer. Last week, in the middle of yet another public statement from Michael Lohan, he mentioned that his father had passed away, and he had notified Dina’s lawyers and his children in hopes they would ‘do the right thing’ and attend the wake. He added that it would show Dina’s true colors, if she didn’t make the effort to take the kids to the funeral.

It’s highly likely that Michael had the paparazzi on tap at the event or nearby, in order to see if Lindsay or any of his estranged family would show up. Those suspicions seem confirmed by the fact that he chose to confirm her absence to the x-17 crew.

There’s no doubt in my mind that he’ll blast out at Lindsay once more in the near future, and blame everything on her relationship with Samantha Ronson.

In the meantime, Lindsay posted once more on her myspace blog, though it had nothing at all to do with her father. In fact, she’s trying to find a childhood favorite ice cream to share with Sam when she gets home. She wanted to find Dixie Cups - the half chocolate/half vanilla ice cream cups that you would get at school for disert. I’m sure she found them in the 219 comments she received, but the part that made me smile was the last bit…

All together now… awwww…

A mishmash of the Lindsay Lohan news of the past couple days have us scratching our heads with a little bit of confusion.

First off, there’s the creepy fake agent dude, Roy Cohen who’s setting up shopping sprees and appearances for LiLo and Blake Lively (Gosspi Girl), but they don’t show up because the creepy stalkerish guy is, you know, fake. Weird. Of all the things to do - set up fake shopping sprees and such? Where’s the logic behind that? Did he think they wouldn’t notice when LiLo didn’t show up, didn’t know his name, had no idea what was going on? Which leads to other questions - the store owners/party venues weren’t taught to CONFIRM? They didn’t think to call back and make sure this guy was legit? I mean, how hard is it to get a hold of LiLo’s publicist… she is on record everywhere, right? Dorks. The stores deserve the lost $$ caused by shutdowns for non-existent private viewings. As a former manager of a franchise location, I’m appalled by the lack of responsibility! (Of course, this from the one who squealed like a school girl when Ted Dansen’s “Cheers” moterhome just drove through the parking lot. Ha! Hey, I live in Alaska, the thought that he might be in there was all it took to make our day exciting.)

In other news, Samantha and Lindsay were seen picking up over $300 in baby items. Wait, what? They were sure to assure us that they weren’t pregnant (….duh.) but there’s no word on who the items were for. Are they shopping for Angelina’s Baby Shower? Or for some family member? Or just to mess with the paparazzi? No one knows yet. (…do we really care? If LiLo isn’t sporting a babybump, or heaven forbid, Sam… I don’t.)

Lindsay and Sam capped off all this excitement, by spending a quiet dinner with their Moms for Family Bonding Time. In New York, they hit up Bar Pitty with Dina Lohan and Ann Dexter Jones. Sources say the group as quiet and happy, and quite comfortable with each other, like they’ve done this hang out thing before. Is it such a shock to have dinner with you mom nowdays?

Today, we expect more of the same for Lindsay - shopping, smiles, and Sam.

I KNOW, right? I wouldn’t have believed it either, but here’s picture evidence that Samantha Ronson does, indeed, know how to smile!

It was another day of shopping yesterday, as is the norm for Lindsay and Samantha. (Do these two have a name yet? Lindsantha? Samsay? Why hasn’t anyone come up with anything yet? LiLoSamRo? Come on, ya’ll… you’re slipping! Just because it’s no easy TomKat or Bradilina, doesn’t mean we can’t have a name!) They looked almost giddy (in comparison, for Samantha. Heh.) to be out and about in the California Sunshine - so much so that even my cold snarkilicious heart has too admit that they looked pretty cute together.

The real big news, though, is that Michael Phelps has a big time fan in Lindsay, and apparently it’s not one sided! When asked by Access Hollywood in Athens four years ago, which celebrity would Phelps like to meet - he replied “Lindsay Lohan. She’s pretty hot.” Never one to let an opportunity go to waste, Billy Bush of Access Hollywood asked Lindsay if she had any messages to pass along to Michael while he was in Beijing. Lindsay sent a text message to tell Michael “Good luck!” before his events, and then when contacted after his 8th gold medal, Lindsay replied again: “Tell him he’s f’ing amazing and I want to meet him!”

We don’t know what Michael had to say about that, but Mama Phelps isn’t at all shy about her reaction to LiLo’s adoration of her golden boy! When Billy showed her the message, Debbie Phelps’ face went from happy to horrified as she read it and said “OK, Lindsay!!! — Delete! Delete! Delete!”

Awww, looks like there won’t be a meeting at all if Mama Phelps has her way!

Looks like even though I’ve been away, Lindsay continues to do the same stuff she’s always done. She was spotted out shopping, wearing almost head to toe black. It’s good to know that some things never change. So many things I could say about this photo: why the leggings still Lindsay. We’ve talked about this. Also, those purple boots are hideous.

It’s starting to look on the gossip front like so many of the people who were rooting for her comeback have given up. Since being out of rehab, she’s done nothing but cause scandal. She’s proven nothing in respect to her movie or singing career, and with both having been promising not two years ago, this girl might have landed herself in the “has-been” pile before reaching her mid-twenties.

My hope? She’ll do what Drew Barrymore did. Go hide away for a few years, return still sober, but with a strong work ethic and time away from the paparazzi. If she took a break from shopping and mugging for photogs, and settled in to work on her career, she could still make a comeback. But as long as she’s out and about in black leggings shopping every night, she’s doomed.

It looks like Lindsay finally got her extensions taken out after almost daily trips to keep them attached. Which means she had the cheapie track-style extensions in. The kind even us mere mortals can afford. As opposed to the kind most celebs get, that stay attached without much maintenance for up to a year. Does this further the belief she’s got no money?

Here she is looking pretty cute in red, out shopping on the 15th. Too bad at least half of these pictures look staged.

In what might be some sort of small step in the right direction (away from the clothes and the paparazzi-lined streets) Lindsay was caught leaving the grocery store yesterday. Stores with brown bags like this usually mean health food, so here’s hoping there’s not a lot of junk in those bags to go along with her potential re-emerging alcohol habit (more on that later).

Another typical weekend for Lindsay, she was spotted on Saturday with a friend in Brentwood, shopping at trendy boutique Madison before heading to the salon for what must be the tenth time this month alone. It’s got to be annoying to have to spend that much time keeping those extensions glued to her head and her roots touched up!

Man, all that working on the new album must really have been draining on Lindsay, because yesterday she was spotted back to her old addictions … shopping and leggings! I know, I know, feigning concern is getting a little tiring for me, too.

Now that she’s done shooting the super-hero themed spread (which Just Jared is reporting is for German Harper’s Bazaar), Lindsay went back to what she does best … shopping. She was spotted out Friday with an unknown female friend, hitting up Intuition in Los Angeles. It must be nice to be able to get all your shopping done without having to actually spend any money. At least she’s not affecting her already dwindling bank account any more!

And who knows, maybe she was picking up things for others? Maybe her new bed buddy Heath Ledger or her old coke dealer Chris needed a little holiday cheer?

I shouldn’t be mean. I’d really like to believe that’s all rumor … at least the drugs part. I’m still holding out for a full year of no rehab for the starlet, although I must be crazy to think that.

Lindsay and her mom look like they had some fun spending tons of money a few days ago! The pair were spotted at Kirna Zabete (it’s in Soho), and it looks like Lindsay couldn’t decide if she needed to add a pair of hot pink stilettos to her shoe collection!

I always wonder when pictures like this surface if Lindsay makes her mom walk behind her like that so she gets the full force of the cameras on her, and her mom (or Riley, when they’re out together) are stuck getting only half-shots of them? It’s got to be a planned thing, because it happens so frequently with so many stars!

The Saturday before she flew to New York to visit family for the holidays, Lindsay did what most of us do … she went to pick out jewelry and got her hair done!

She reportedly spent several hours with a Beverly Hills jeweler (do you think she was picking out her own wedding ring a la Britney Spears, or getting her family holiday presents?) before heading into the Chris McMillan salon, presumably to get her roots touched up and her weave glued back into place.

She also made sure to keep a tight hold on the crotch-area of her dress as she got in and out of the car!

While we’re at work, slaving all day to earn just enough to get by (melodrama anyone?), Lindsay Lohan is supposed to be doing her community service. At least, that’s what I thought. Yesterday she was doing a different kind of service for the community than the court-appointed variety, however, when she was spotted out lunching at The Ivy and then doing a little shopping. She was caught on camera checking out purses, although this silver thing looks too small to hold all the crap she’s probably carrying in her gigantic bag she usually carries. Maybe LiLo’s getting ready for a night on the town?!?! Per chance to dream.

What I’d like to know is, what happened to her community service??? With rumors swirling that she’s going to fulfill her jail-time requirements during Thanksgiving weekend, shouldn’t she be trying to get as much of her community service out of the way as possibe? And since when is that sort of thing something you can do over non-consecutive days? The perks of being a celebrity I guess.
