Looks like lawsuits are Lindsay’s new drug of choice, as one former bodyguard has joined the party, claiming Linday owes him around $50k for six months of services that went unpaid.

Among his grievances? He never got paid for the car one of Lindsay’s drivers wrecked while attempting to outrun the paparazzi. The problem with this? David Kim (the bodyguard in question) was the one responsible for hiring drivers for Lindsay. She had nothing to do with hiring a driver that subsequently wrecked his car. Not that Lindsay shouldn’t have paid him for his services, though. He claims those services included protecting her at clubs and fetching drugs for her when she didn’t want to go out for them herself.

The greatest part of the whole law suit, however, is what he officially filed at the Los Angeles county courthouses. ” … charges of fraud, emotional distress and breach of oral contract.” Oral contract. I’m pretty sure that will get thrown out pretty fast, if all he had with her was an oral contract.

Still struggling with her on-going lawsuit, Lindsay and her team suffered a minor blow (although they’re making it seem like the biggest deal in the world) yesterday. The judge overseeing the case ruled Lindsay’s deposition would have to be videotaped, causing issues for her team. They’re saying such a video could sell for “tens of thousands of dollars”, and have been fighting to keep this very thing from happening.

To put it into perspective, Britney’s custody hearings will NOT be videotaped, the same courthouse ruled. Although, to be fair, in her case we’re also dealing with children.

While Lindsay is trying to recover in rehab, her problems continue to crash in on her from the outside world. And ‘crash’ is a fitting word because Lindsay is being sued by Florian Loeckle, CEO of Grandeur Incorporated, which claims that Lindsay crashed into one of their parked vans back in October 2005. According to reports, Lindsay was driving in Beverly Hills, allegedly racing away from the paparazzi at the time. In the rush, she hit a red van while trying to make an illegal U-turn. Hmm, maybe she’s dreaming for a role in a fast-paced action Hollywood movie? The van then hit into Loeckle’s parked vehicle. The driver of the other car was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and Lindsay was also taken to the hospital. According to CelebTV.com, Grandeur is after more than $3,600 in damages. Ouch. Later this month a judge is going to hear the matter but so far Lindsay’s rep has not commented about the incident.

Meanwhile, on the inside of rehab, Lindsay is cozying up to fellow rehabber, socialite Dori Cooperman. Dori was arrested earlier this year for larceny and forgery, yet insists she was framed by an imposter. A source claims Lindsay and Dori have been seen working up a sweat together – at the gym, that is. But so far they haven’t said anything about a possible budding relationship.

Lindsay Lohan and her mom are being sued by a New York photographer who claims that Lindsay recently ran into him with her mother’s BMW.

The man, Giovanni Arnold, 22, claims he has suffered “severe and permanent personal injuries and economic loss� because Lindsay Lohan allegedly hit him in the knees with her car. Well, that’s according to the lawsuit he filed against the star. Lindsay obviously denied knocking him down and even recently claimed the incident was faked.

But his lawyer, a man by the name of Marc Mausser, says Giovanni was standing a mere two feet in front of the car when Lindsay drove into him, throwing him onto the hood of the car. “The vehicle wasn’t moving, and he was just going to take a picture,” Mausser said, adding that Lindsay ditched the scene in another vehicle but returned afterwards. He says Giovanni is after compensation for his injuries and to cover the income he has lost due to not being able to work after the incident. Apparently he is still receiving medical treatment for his injuries.

Because the car belongs to Lindsay’s mom, Dina, the lawsuit names both Lohans. According to the lawsuit, Arnold claims that both Lindsay and her mom are “negligent, careless and reckless.�
