Last night at the Emmys…

..or rather, AFTER the Emmys! Why spoil a good party night by sitting through three hours of exhaustive award show anyway, right? Everyone knows the party doesn’t really get started until afterward anyway.

TV Guide held their soiree at the Kress nightclub, and Samantha Ronson was on tap to spin the night away, with Lindsay on her arm. Or, rather, Samantha in Lindsay’s arms!

THE WOMAN SMILES!

I know, I’m shocked too! There are plenty of pictures with the trademark Sam Smirk, but I’ve noticed that there are a lot more of her smiling lately.

Lindsay looked stunning her a shiny gold little number, and Sam even cleaned up ok with a nice jacket over her typical t-shirt and jeans. Gotta stay comfortable to work, right? Right.





And ya know, maybe Samantha was just tired - the girls did have a busy weekend! Sam worked at the Roxy on Friday night, and they spent Saturday shopping. Both girls were hit pretty hard by the plane crash that injured DJ AM and Travis Barker, and killed 4 others, writing little notes in their blog to send prayers to the injured, deceased and their families, and to treasure life, every little moment you have.

Maybe that’s why Samantha and Lindsay were a little more openly affectionate this weekend - tragedy leads us to treasure those closest to us even more, holding on a little bit tighter while we work through our feelings. Or, you know, they were just messing with the Paparazzi again by hamming it up in plain view. Heh. You decide!
