Lindsay can’t party
Being in rehab is already tough when you’re a normal citizen, but for celebrities it is even more of a restriction – just think: aside from the media watching your every move even more closely than usual, you’re prevented from attending glitzy events and glamorous parties.
Doctors have prohibited 20-year-old Lindsay Lohan from attending the premiere of her latest film, Chapter 27 at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah this week. Lindsay was really hoping to attend the premiere (obviously watching American Idols on telly in rehab just isn’t as much fun) but doctors said ‘no’ because they were worried that if she goes to the party it will ruin the progress she’s made on being sober. According to the website Femalefirst.co.uk, a source has said, “The doctors have told [Lindsay] she has got to stay put as leaving the centre would interfere with her treatment.? Let’s not forget: where there’s a party, alcohol’s the number one guest and doctors are anxious that it will provide too much of a temptation for Lindsay. “Park City is such a party town during the Sundance Festival that it was feared attending the premiere might prove too much of a temptation,? the source added. And the last thing Lindsay needs is to end up lying unconscious again thanks to over-drinking. That was the final straw that winded her in rehab in the first place.
