Lindsay does Marie and Betty…
…and she couldn’t be happier.
In the October issue of Marie Claire, Lindsay took the time to open up to the mag while on the set of Labor Pains, and declare that she’s really happy. The article points out that in Hollywood - tattoos tell the story, and Samantha Ronson and Lindsay are sporting a matching set - Lindsay has a star to match those on Samantha’s forearms, and Sam has a small heart that matches Lindsay’s.
She still won’t be specific about the relationship though, and while some find that taxing, I find it utterly adorable. What she does say about Ronson speaks volumes. “I’m really happy. She’s a great person and she’s a great influence on people around her.”
But don’t think that Samantha is the only reason that Lindsay is off the crazy train! “I think that anything that’s changed in my life,” she continued, “is because of me. I’ve gone through it, and I’ve learned to deal with it and I’ve made the decision to move forward.” She also indicated that she was going to by buying a new home with ’someone’ - but wouldn’t say if that person sported matching tattoos.
It’s not just movies in the works, either. Lindsay is at the recording studio too, working on a new album to be released next year. “This business is very ‘go, go, go’ and you’re constantly surrounded by people, and then everything stops. You can feel invalid in a weird way. I find the studio therapeutic.”
With the rave reviews Lindsay is getting from her co-stars on Labor Pains, and the success of Ugly Betty - I’d say she’s working hard to stay on that upward path. Way to go, Lindsay!
