Lindsay gets her appendix removed
There’s never a dull moment on Planet Lindsay Lohan!
A few days ago Lindsay had to check into hospital to get her appendix removed. After going to see the doctor because she wasn’t feeling well, the Freaky Friday star had tests done which confirmed she needed to have an appendectomy as a precaution. She checked into an L.A. hospital the next day (which was last week Thursday) to have the procedure done. Lindsay’s publicist, Leslie Sloane Zelnik, confirmed the reports of her appendectomy to ABCNEWS.com.
Luckily Lindsay made a speedy recovery, which was all thanks to her quick decision to seek medical attention. But shame, what a way to start the New Year. And, this isn’t the first time Lindsay has checked into the hopsital – in the past she’s had a fractured wrist, heat exhaustion and an asthma attack.
But Lindsay is anything but squeamish or faint-hearted – reports claim that after she was discharged from the hospital on Friday morning, she was already partying it up that evening! She was seen having dinner at a place called Pace and then hit the clubs, only to return home after two in the morning! But interestingly, her appendectomy has halted filming of I Know Who Killed Me. Once again, this isn’t the first time that Lindsay’s health problems have stalled production schedules of films.
