Will he EVER learn?
Oy! Papa Lohan just has so much to say! Too bad he can’t resist saying it in a way that’s completely fame whore-ish and pathetic.
You see, Perez posted something the other day that I chose to ignore, because it seemed to be really reaching - he pointed out a scar on Lindsay’s wrist and suggested she was self-harming now too. Next thing you know, Papa Lohan has to swoop in and add that to his latest rambling blog entry against Samantha and Lindsay’s relationship, along with how thin Lindsay is looking. Because BLOGGING about it instead of, oh, I dunno, calling and talking to your daughter privately, is SO the way to go!
He even uses Perez’s “saMANtha” and I lost count of the typos and poorly constructed sentences. It’s yet another bid for attention, that’s going to have the opposite effect on his relationship with his daughter than he hopes.
Sam, on the other hand, is looking as stressed and tired and thin as Lindsay, and I’m sure this latest attack won’t help any. She was home Wednesday, briefly, but is scheduled to be out of town once more on Thursday, then at a Superbowl Gig this weekend.
The thing is, Michael, the only FACT in your little rant, is that you are Lindsay’s father, and if you read the comments, and try a new tactic, and become an actual PARENT to your daughter instead of clutching desperately to the fame that has always eluded you, you might be able to mend the fences with Lindsay.
But I wouldn’t bet on it, especially not now. She’s asked you repeatedly to stop doing this in public - why won’t you listen?

He seems to take his “info” from questionable blogs. Not a good idea. But people do want to know . . . are there any acting projects in the pipeline? The whole Stepsister story seems to have turned out to be false. And what about her album, that people involved with said was going to be so good?

Both are good questions, Cody. The Snow White/Stepsister is still a possibility as far as I know, though another project has fallen through. She hasn’t been in the recording studio for quite a while, so the Album seems to be in hold once again, though Samantha includes couple of tracks done by Lindsay in each of her DJ sets from what I’ve heard. As soon as I know, you’ll know, that’s for sure!
